HubSpot now lets you see the fill rate of your CRM properties directly within Property Settings giving you powerful insights into which fields are actually being used. At Orbit Works, we help businesses declutter their HubSpot setup, and this feature makes it much easier to manage and optimise your data structure.
Why Property Fill Rate Visibility Matters
Over time, HubSpot portals can become bloated with unused or unnecessary custom properties. This leads to messy data, confused users, and less efficient reporting.
With the new fill rate view, you can:
Quickly identify which properties are barely used or completely empty
Clean up your CRM by archiving or deleting fields with a 0% fill rate
Streamline your forms, workflows, and reports for better performance and clarity
This is an essential tool for maintaining a lean, high-performing HubSpot setup.
How to View Property Fill Rate in HubSpot
Go to Property Settings In your HubSpot account, navigate to: Settings > Objects > [Select Object] > Properties
Review the Fill Rate Column Each property will now show a fill rate percentage, indicating how often that field is populated across your records.
Filter for Unused Properties You can filter to find properties with low or zero usage candidates for removal or cleanup.
Decide What to Keep or Delete Once identified, unused properties can be deleted or repurposed depending on your needs.
At Orbit Works, we often recommend this cleanup as part of a quarterly CRM audit to keep systems efficient and user-friendly.
Who Can Use This?
This feature is available to all HubSpot users across all hubs and tiers no special plan or add-on required.
